MCM with Tapiouz Enterprise
Starting your business is like planting a sapling. First, you have to invest your time and money. Then, you must take care of it while expecting nothing in return. But when your startup blossoms, it makes all the patience and hard work worthwhile.
Today is Monday and our Man Crush Monday (MCM) is Peter Taiwo, an Entrepreneur who is adding new pages to his success stories daily.
Mr Peter runs and Enterprise called Tapiouz Offering four different services
Shoe making workshop
As well as a Unisex salon.
All these came from his passion for ARTISTRY.
You would be amazed how the brand name Tapiouz came to be.
"Well it all started with the first syllables from my name which I was called “Tapi” from Taiwo Peter by family members.
And one day out of the blues my brothers just modified it and started calling me Tapiouz.
And I stuck to it cause it sounds like “Tap yours”
That’s why the name is what I’m using today for my businesses.
More like come and “Tap yours” 😂"
However, like saplings, many startups fail to grow -- and many die one-to-three years after launch. While there are many factors leading to the failure of a startup, one of the main reasons is the failure to get acquainted to challenges of the life of an entrepreneur and boldly face it.
"Challenges are part of our daily living.
Well I won’t deny the fact I’ve been given the opportunity by life to face and overcome most of my challenges.
And how did I do that?
With the help of the grace of the Almighty God through perseverance and consistency in facing these challenges applied in the form of diligence."
Experience of a seasoned entrepreneur is precious -- and no matter how many theoretical models you study, you simply can’t replace the experience they’ve gained through actually doing the work, failing, and succeeding.
And that's why Tapiouz became our MCM. He's someone to look up to.
