Ashaka chidera favour: ”no one wants to wear a dinner gown to a road rally”
According to the editorial policy of Fashion Theory: The Journal of Dress, Body & Culture, fashion is defined as "the cultural construction of the embodied identity." As such, it encompasses all forms of self-fashioning, including street styles, as well as so-called high fashion created by designers and couturiers. Fashion also alludes to the way in which things are made; to fashion something is to make it in a particular form.
Ashaka chidera favour is from delta state Nigeria...a student and also a fashion enthusiast.
“Fashion, to me, represents life. When I wear something that makes me feel more…creative, more interesting, stronger, complicated — that’s when I feel the most alive, the most engaged with the world. Changing my wardrobe is the quickest route to feeling like everything is new again, that anything is possible. So the purpose of fashion is to make you feel alive and present. I hate it when people get too philosophical about fashion, but this really is the truth!”

FABRIC OR STYLE?
Fabric is the most important thing that you should give importance. It determines the overall style and beauty of your dress.
Fashionable clothing does not only rely on the style and cut. Fabrics are important to ensure comfort, fit, flexibility and match.
Everyone has their own kind of fabric,
But for me I choose fabrics that makes be look defined and slimmer.
Fashion is a name of creativity, people think that it is a name of complex and expensive outfits, the thing is it doesn’t have to be expensive or complex the creativity can incorporated on casual outfits. Most people claim that they are fashion lovers but the opinions they often generate about fashion are often heard from rich people.
let's suppose you bought a thing about 10 to 12 years back. It became out of style and you threw it away. After some time, you searched for the new fashion trends and you found the same thing you had and you’re like “what in the hell ?”
In conclusion Wear what you like and make it your own original style.
The fashion industry is a vast and ever-changing place and one cannot simply predict whether there will be a new trend far ahead of time. Sometimes most elegant new pieces fail to make a mark whereas designs that first make no sense at first cradle up to become the hottest trends worldwide.
First fashion advice that anyone can use is that you have to select the attire that suits you and your personality and no matter how much a fad is being followed if it doesn’t go with your style, just quit the urge to be in the line of blind followers.
I choose my outfits daily based on my mood, if I am in a good mood I choose my outfits a night before the deal day but if I am not in a good mood, I wear whatever fits...when in a good mood I choose my outfits based on occasions...I don’t like bright colors for instance..when I want to wear a yellow top I will have to tone the color down with a black skirt or trousers.
Yellow is the only bright color I like.
The occasion depends on the outfits I will choose...”no one wants to wear a dinner gown to a road rally”
