COCO: Everyone is looking the same cos we are busy doing Trends
You are really amazing the way you view our blog daily, we can't say less than Thank you so much.
Ok in a country where We are, Nigeria, I really do not know much about other African Countries, but here in Nigeria, we mostly almost do not get to study your dream courses. Ok there was a time you Have to become Mum and Dad's choice, then it transitioned into us making our choices but then Nigerian Universities will give you provisional admissions into the university to study a course they feel like giving you 😂.
OK the whole story above is to relate with Claudia Awedaga Felalaga, popularly known as Coco from the upper East Region of Ghana, Navrongo to be precise. She was born in Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo but grew up in Greater Accra. So yes, you can call her a mixed breed ☺.
Claudia just finished a course in Broadcast Journalism where she majored in TV Presenting but Still intending to study law.
You got the message right???
She's still intending to study Law!!! And she's getting back to school really soon.
Coco is a Digital style Coach
"I am what you’d call A Digital Style Coach. I am a sucker for fashion. People ask me for fashion advice all the time via my Social media platforms and I’m always more than happy to help. Although I wouldn’t call myself a fashion guru, I do know a thing or two about fashion and style and that reflects in my choice of clothes."
"I am first of all a student 😃 and I hate waking up for school. Thank God that is on hold right now 😂😂. I am also a Brand influencer and A digital style coach. I like waking up to the thought that I in my small way am helping make the world a better place. I’m not curing cancer or eradicating extreme poverty and hunger but I do get a sense of fulfillment from knowing that people visit my page daily just to take fashion inspiration from me. Honestly, the feeling is Surreal. Our clothes have a say in how we feel on the daily. When one is nicely and comfortably dressed it comes with a certain level of confidence. Knowing that I have a hand in boosting someone’s confidence however minuscule that role is, is what inspires me to do this everyday. Plus I love creating new looks."
Coco gets her inspiration from individuala whose sense of styles Screams Freedom
"I get lots of inspiration from individuals whose sense of style screams freedom. I also seek comfort above all things so I draw inspiration from all things casual, chic yet comfortable and that’s what I’m mostly on the lookout for when shopping. Classic pieces that describes my personality is always top priority for me.
Also, Rihanna is my greatest source of fashion inspiration! She’s the embodiment of all that is sexy and chic. I love her!"
You can literally create looks from nothing, maybe from pieces and bits.
" I’d say watching a look come out of bits and pieces from here and there is the best part of being a fashion enthusiast. You literally create looks from nothing. Nothing beats the feeling of watching it all fall into place. Seeing people like it and recreating similar looks is also amazing. It’s like ‘wow! I did that. And they love it!’ It’s like a jigsaw puzzle finally making sense"
"But in all, I simply do me. I don’t keep up with trends. My style defines me and that’s one of the things that endears me to people. I don’t try to be like anybody else or look like everyone else. That’s the problem with keeping up with fashion trends. Everyone tends to look the same. I do what works for me."
Ok...Guess you had an out of the box session with Coco. Remember her last words... Everyone tends to look the same because we are majorly all trying to keep up with trends instead of standing out..... Well you can hook up with Coco clicking here.
Have a great week. To my Ghanaians reading this I love you and hope to visit the Country of so many heritage soon... You can as well sponsor my ticket so we could come catch some fun 😂.
