Queen Nafisah on Creative Women Wednesday
Queen Nafisah Abdullahi is from Kogi state, from a polygamous home, last of seven children who lost both parents at tender age.
Queen Nafisah is a computer scientist from Southwestern University, Ogun state who's into Modeling and fashion designing and as of now a two time beauty Queen and current Face of African Queen international.
"As a model, I represent brands, my family and also the less privileged. Who inspired me most was my late mom’s love for humanity. Growing up with her taught me a lot and prepared me for who I am today."
"I’ve always wanted to be a model but didn’t know how to get started with it. I will stay glued to the Tv and watch different fashion shows until I saw an audition advert, picked the date, prepared myself and went for it, at first I wasn’t picked but the judges saw the energy in me and asked me to join those who will undergo professional training. I officially started my modeling career 2016, and since then I’ve walked different Run ways, pageantries and commercial shoots."
There are lots of challenges in modeling, but the case of sexual harassment is more because the society see every model as a sex object.
SHOES OR BAGS?
I love both equally, but I do more of shoes when shopping.
HOW DO YOU CHOOSE YOUR DAILY OUTFITS?
My daily outfit depends on my activity for the day, it could be dinner outing,family/wedding function, etc.
